GO TEAM USA!

GO TEAM USA!

World charters, an aircraft leasing airline leased 5 A350-900s from Los Angeles based Riga Airways to take all the people from the USA that will do the Tokyo 2020 summer olympics. The image shown is one of the A350-900s N180A. The 5 A350-900s will take the people on special charter flights from San Francisco to Tokyo Haneda. After the 5 A350-900s take all the people to Tokyo Haneda for the olympics the 5 A350-900s will fly to Los Angeles to be returned to Riga Airways.

    Los Angeles based Riga Airways?
    - The reg is a slight improvement on last time but still needs to be a bit larger

    - There is nothing related to this Riga Airways on this livery except the description (I don’t think they would repaint the whole thing for a few weeks lease!!)

Riga Airways is a fictional airline so I will make a livery for that soon.

They were only leased to take the people to Tokyo 2020, then when they arrived at Los Angeles they were repainted to the regular Riga Airways livery in the hangars.

    1. It’s not that it’s a fictional airline, it’s that Riga is a wholly different city in Latvia

    2. That isn’t answering my point. Did they really repaint the plane to take the USA team to Tokyo and back?

    Yes, they repainted them.

    Yes, they repainted them.

So they painted the whole plane white and then stuck about 5 words and a logo on it, to do a few charter flights? And then repaint it back to this Riga Airways livery after a few weeks? I think that this is some kind of excuse for not putting much thought into this livery..

They go to the hangars to get repainted.

You are clearly missing the point.. To paint a large aircraft the size of an A350 it can take up to 1 week. For all that money, painting it twice (each aircraft being painted twice would take the same length of the Games themselves!!!)

it would be a stupid idea. Stop making excuses for lack of effort.

They don't paint it twice. They are repainted in the hangars from 1 to 2 weeks then they are returned.

They would need to paint all aircraft twice lmao

    Paint 1:

“Riga Airways” livery to “Go team USA”

    Time - 1 week

    Paint 2: [After the lease]

“Go team USA” to “Riga Airways”

    Time - 10 days

They do? They have to paint it before and after.

I don't think you understand the severity of repainting an entire aircraft, let alone an A350.

Either way, the design is not good.
