Adarna - South East Asian Boeing 747-4B9

Adarna - South East Asian Boeing 747-4B9

As the mid 1990s approached, management decided that it was time to freshen up the brand's identity. This decision came as the airline was also in the midst of a fleet modernization program, wherein a number of Airbus A330/A340-300 and Boeing 777-300 aircraft were ordered.

The new livery came with a refreshed logo, the company name in a shiny silver-gray color using a modern, italicized font, a red strip underneath the windows that gradually became blue towards the end of the fuselage, bolder, darker colors that now also covered the engine nacelles, and "The Spirit of the Orient" titles positioned near the aircraft's registration.

Several innovations were also introduced, such as the e-Ticketing system, a new Traveller Plus class as a Premium Economy product, personal IFE screens in all classes on aircraft that undergo longer flights, and the airline's announcement of intent to join an airline alliance in the very early 2000s.

that silver font would be a pain to read from a distance with a glare off the fuselage

Much like the current SAS livery. I'm trying to get the effect right to make it dark enough. Let me try to fix that.

    Nice work!

    neat!

    :awesome:
