Emerald is a colombian full service carrier based at medellin, they have a fleet consisting of 7 Ex-avianca A318s which fly domestic and international routes to cartagena, bogota, san andres, baranquilla, lima, panama city, and quito. The airline have the following aircraft on order: 25 A321neo, 13 ATR-72, 5 A220-100, 3 A330-900, 2 A350-900. with these newer aircraft, 4 of the 7 A318s will be retutrned to the lessor and the ATR72 will take over majorit of the domestic routes. with their A321neos and A220s the airline will begin flights to southern parts of south america, north america, and central america. these destinations include: sao paulo, buenos aires, santiago, la paz, miami, houston, los angeles, cancun, mexico city, and new york. with their newer widebody aircraft, they will begin flights to european destinations such as paris, madrid, lisboa, rome, and munich.
