ES: En 2016 un C-17 de la USAF en vuelo desde Aruba a Colombia sufrió la perdida de dos motores luego del despegue siendo el aeropuerto mas cercano el de la Península de Paraguaná, Punto Fijo - Las Piedras SVJC, Aterrizando sin problemas, el avión fue decomisado por la Aviación Militar Bolivariana de Venezuela y desde Enero 2021 fue pintado con el livery de Conviasa en Teherán y con matricula civil de Venezuela, Conviasa aerolínea bandera del dictador de Venezuela y opera bajo sus colores pero con pilotos militares y haciendo vuelos misteriosos hacia Moscú, Teherán, Damasco, Estambul desde varios aeropuertos en Venezuela.
