This is the third and final livery for today. This description is long, but read at least some of it.
This is the one where pigs fly. In 2016, Southwest announces an order for 10 787-9s. These planes will fly to Hawaii from the east and west coast, with smaller 737s supplementing. This will ultimately force Southwest to make some sort of business class and accelerate the airline's move from secondary airports to primary airports. These planes also will fly to destinations in the Caribbean, Central America and South America, potentially including Europe. This aircraft was stored at Victorville along with 50 737s and the 3 other 787s. Once Hawaii travel began to rebound it was taken back into service 14 months later.
I think this one is my favorite one of the three. Even though it's strange to think Southwest would divert from a 737-only airline to a more diverse fleet, it's wrong to completely rule it out considering how many times Southwest has alluded to ordering other planes. Thus, I wanted to show how these specific ones may look like.
One final thing, tomorrow I'm thinking of posting two or three things:
1. Southwest 747-400
2. Southwest Heart Livery with desert gold colors (possibly)
3. A new album dedicated entirely to a new brand.
Give feedback and criticism. Thanks for checking this out.
