American Overseas Airways | Douglas DC-9-50

The DC-9-50 was the 3rd workhorse in the fleet, after the 737-200Adv, which was the 2nd and the 727-200Adv, which was the 1st. They were ordered for lower demand routes and to accompany the 737-200Adv on most routes. They were mostly seen operating out of the East Coast hubs, but some were also based in the West Coast.
