since most Latin American carrier names are registered as S.A. (Sociedad Anónima) companies, wouldn't ANCSA seem more fitting?
Not necessarily. Varig, Tam, Avianca and Copa are all Sociedad Anonimas, but the S.A. is kept off the acronym
