In 2009, Yangtze Airlines joined UnitedWings, becoming the alliance's first and only member from China. The partnership allowed the airline to grow at unprecedented pace. The first ever UnitedWings alliance jet belonged to Yangtze Airlines, a (update coming soon), revealed at the UnitedWings Press Conference announcing Yangtze's entry. B-2436 was the first new livery aircraft to receive the UnitedWings alliance jet treatment. As of 2021, there are 8 aircrafts in the Yangtze fleet that wears the UnitedWings livery, (2 Airbus A320neo, 2 Airbus A330-300, 2 Boeing 737-800, 1 Boeing 777-300ER, 1 Boeing 787-9).
