The DC-6's entered the flag carrier's fleet between 1946 and 1949. The aircraft carried up to 68 passengers on intra-European flights, and 48 passengers on long-haul flights. The aircraft have been painted in similar liveries, a first in the fleet. The aircraft were painted with red wings on the front, which symbolized flight and continued until the the jet age. The aircraft also facilitated a name change. They exited the fleet by 1962, being replaced by jet aircraft.
Ok wait...you only list five aircraft in the description, but there are seven on the image. And did the airline switch its name to Bergenhochland Fluggensellschaften for -BHLM, -BHLN, and -BHLO, and then go back to Bergehochland Luftfahrt-Transportgesellschaft for -BHLP only? I'm a bit confused by this
I messed up my spreadsheet with all the aircraft registrations. there are duplicate aircraft registrations, which means that i must've messed up something at some point
Oh yeah actually looks like you've got -BHLO and -BHLP twice
