Fleet in 1998 (excludes Tu-134)

Fleet in 1998 (excludes Tu-134)

The first Western-built aircraft, a Boeing 737-500 leased from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), was delivered in 1995, and in 1997 an ex-Maersk Air Fokker 50 would also join the fleet. These aircraft would eventually serve as successors to older Antonov aircraft flying regional short-haul routes, and in 1998 a Boeing 767-300ER was leased from ILFC for the launch of long-haul service from Riga to New York City. A second transatlantic route from Vilnius to New York City would be launched in late 2000 with the lease of another Boeing 767-300ER from GECAS. Baltija's last Soviet aircraft, a Tupolev Tu-154B registered as YL-LAB, was retired from service that same year, and from this point on the airline's fleet would consist entirely of Western aircraft.

    Its a bit bland :/

This would really work well as a charter/holiday airline for the baltics.

How about if I make the titles billboard size on the Tu-154, B737, and B767?

it's good but i think the flags need to be aligned with each tail

It might help but it's really just lacking in detail

You could add so many little things here and there like names, aircraft types, fleet numbers, welcome aboard signs, re-colored door frames, etc. Right now it just looks basic and unfinished. Add an anti-glare to the planes that don't have it for consistency's sake too. And like Hayhaa was saying, maybe even angle the tail design with the leading edge of the tail.

I'll work on the revisions soon.

I agree with a lot of this, but the anti-glare paint only being on the Soviet types actually makes sense to me... I'm not sure why that is, but Tu-154s, An-24s, etc very often kept the anti-glare on the nose after being repainted to new liveries in the 90s, even when other (western) aircraft in the fleet didn't have it. Look at Aeroflot's Tu-154s for example - in the final livery they wore, at the same time as 767s, A320s, etc were flying in the same livery without anti-glare paint, the -154s still had it. I actually find the inclusion of anti-glare paint on the Soviet types in this fleet poster to be a nice touch of realism, cause in all likelihood that's exactly what it would look like if this was real!

    meh tbh

    agree that it looks bland

UPDATES: Black door frames (except An-24) and new billboard titles (jet aircraft only)
