Air Turkey A330-200

The A330-200 has proven to be a great replacement for the A300 on longer but less demand flights, such as to Kathmandu, Hyderabad, a lot of west Africa, just to name a few places! Air Turkey has 12 of these planes, but has operated another 6 of the type, but these were old planes and were replaced by the 787-8. Air Turkey was one of the first customers to both order and operate the A332, ordering 20 examples of the A330-200, and 30 examples of the larger A330-300 in December 1989. The first A330 to be delivered, an A330-300, was delivered on 12 December 1993, and was the 2nd A330 to retire from the fleet, retiring on 13 December 2016.

The future of the A330-200, however, is looking fairly short, with plans to replace some of them with much smaller A321XLRs starting mid-late 2023, and further 787 deliveries coming up. But, with A330P2F programmes well in place, it is expected that many of these old A332s will become freighters over the next few years.

TC-KDE: 1995 Airbus A330-213 | Air Turkey | Currently: Active with Air Turkey, but likely to retire either this year or next year (2023), will most likely end up as a converted freighter

(Side note, I have lost the main file for this plane, so pretend the tail number reads KDE and not XDE)

Again you should change the registration instead of x to another letter.
