Springbok Express | Embraer ERJ family | 2011-present

The ERJ family is by far the largest member of the Springbok Express fleet, with a total of 41 aircraft in service, split between 24 E135s and 17 E145s. These small jets consist of nearly two thirds of the company's whole fleet, and operate dozens of point-to-point flights within South Africa, as well as certain international routes from smaller cities. Since the first delivery in 2000, the ERJs have helped connect the nation unlike any other aircraft before them.

As many of these aircraft are entering their third decade of service, Springbok has begun looking at possible replacements for them. However, the airline has yet to find a suitable aircraft that can capture the ERJ's performance and economics, further proving the aircraft's reliability and cementing its place in the South African flag carrier's fleet for years to come.

ZS-NJE was first built in 1997, delivered to a small US airline that went bankrupt in 2002. It was acquired by Springbok Express (then Antelope) the following year. It is configured with 37 seats and is currently based out of Durban.

ZS-VJA is the first E145XR delivered to Antelope in 2002. It is configured with 50 seats, and is based out of the main Springbok hub and headquarters in Johannesburg. Although originally based in Cape Town, it was moved to Johannesburg along with 2 other of the type in order to launch new internationa services to secondary cities in neighboring countries.

Love it! The Springbok livery is so cool!

Looks fancy, but squeeze the main titles to account for the fuselage curve. Also the fact it goes like a couple of pixels over the windows makes it look pretty bad. But the tail as usual is really nice!

As always, a huuuuge thumbs up from me :DDDD

    ZS-VJA has no counterpart unfortunately

ZS-NJE corresponds to ZS-SNZ, an ERJ135LR that originally belonged to Chautauqua Airlines, a US-based now defunct regional airline that was delivered in 2010. It is still flying for Airlink today.

This is nice, I'd resize the text though. Or maybe put it below the windows.
