Scioto Airlines is pleased to announce that we have recently placed an order for 5 brand new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners. These aircraft, upon delivery, will immediately replace the aging Boeing 767-300 aircraft which have served Scioto so well over the years. The 767-300 aircraft will continue to be used on busier routes as needed, with all the aircraft being retired by 2024.

It is also with great pleasure that Scioto Airlines announces that it has recently become a member of the rejuvenated Venture Alliance. Scioto is extremely excited for the prospects which this will open, and we look forward to operating alongside our partner airlines around the world.

This aircraft, registered N949AB, has been named "Columbus" in honor of the city of Columbus, which has been the home of Scioto Airlines since our founding. Although our growth has taken us far beyond Columbus and the state of Ohio, we will always consider this city our home.
