A330-800neo Air Acores

Just 8 months after placing the order Air Acores received their first and only A330-800neo. After making a low pass at Lisbon the aircraft was accompanied with one of Air Acores's A321neo's and together they made a tour of the main islands at the Azores. It touched down at Ponta Delgada at exactly 15:30 after a quite firm landing because of heavy crosswinds. It taxied onto its assigned ramp after passing under a water salute. This aircraft will be officially based in Lisbon, but Ponta Delgada will be its home for decades to come.
