Due to IATA forecasts for the future of the industry, British International plans to return to pre-pandemic levels of demand only in 2024. Due to this, since March the airline has permanently retired 25 A320-200s (out of 33 in the fleet at the start of the year), all five remaining A321-200s, all 19 remaining A330-200s, and 14 (out of 18) A330-200s. This leaves it, as of September 2020, with a fleet of eight A320-200s, 11 A320neos, 7 A321neos (with two more due for delivery this year), four A330-200s, and five A330-900neos (with one more due for delivery this year). Essentially, British International's fleet has been cut down to less than half of its pre-pandemic size.

The current plan for the airline is to retire all remaining A330-200s by the end of 2021, and all A320-200s by mid-2023. The order for 25 A321neos has been decreased down to only 18, to be delivered by mid-2024, and the delivery timeline for A320neos - all 45 of which were previously meant to be delivered by the end of 2023 - has ben extended. They will now finish entering the fleet in 2026. Some of the cancelled A321neo orders have ben converted into A321LRs - eleven of them will now enter the fleet by 2024, with the larger subfleet of small long-range aircraft giving British International more flexibility when it comes to serving lower-demand transatlantic destinations. A350-900 deliveries have also been deferred, with only one to enter service in 2021, and the rest of the 15 aircraft to reach the fleet by the end of 2026. The A350-1000s, which some -900 orders were previously converted to, have been delayed by one year and will begin to be delivered in 2024. Finally, the order for 30 A330-900neos has also been decreased significantly. Five delivery slots have been cancelled outright, and six have been converted to A330-800neos, which will give some lower-capacity yet longer-range versatility to the airline once they begin to be delivered starting in 2023.

Both the A330-800neo and the A350-1000 are shown here wearing the slightly updated livery which will enter service on the A350-900 in 2021, featuring enlarged titling and a cursive 'British' wordmark on the nose. Their seatmaps are also shown below. Both types will have the same lounge area as the A350-900 (instead of a bar). The A330-800neo will feature 32 seats in Business, 28 in Premium Economy, and 197 in Economy, for a total capacity of 257, while the A350-1000 will have a super-premium-heavy layout of 62 Business, 56 Premium Economy, and 265 Economy, totaling 383.

I think the general design is solid ^_^ but I think this brand would benefit from a logo or an additional design element because now the livery feels like something is missing if you get my point :D its prob inspired by etihad and I think that kind of livery is not the easiest to make look interesting, the script on the nose is a nice touch tho. I also think the engine maybe shouldn't wear the polygon design but experimentation is best here I think and I am still missing the british character a bit but I am not the best for judging that :P. I see potential def :) The seat maps are nice

Thank you! This actually isn't inspired by Etihad's Facets of Abu Dhabi at all - the original version of the design was created in 2017, before they introduced any of their monochrome special liveries like the Greenliner or F1 special, and while I guess I see how you may thing the use of geometric shapes like that is inspired by Abu Dhabi, the way the pattern is arranged is completely different, the use of shapes is different also, and I assure you I did not have Etihad anywhere in my mind when I made this... Also, the original 2017 version of the livery had the engines painted like they are here, but later on I tried the engines without the pattern (just painting them a single color) and they ended up looking really plain and not going with the tail design at all so I scrapped that and went back to this.
