Nice, but you used the old Luxair tail. The new tail shading is made by dots, not gradient.

IRL they are small dots (part of the artwork is available online).
tommy's right, luxair's standard tail does include a halftone gradient as flag shading, a similar concept used on BA's tail. here's an image of the tail of this registration specifically:
