FKF, an Ansett F28 history

VH-FKF was a Fokker F-28-1000 originally delivered to Martinair in 1969.
In 1980 it was brought by Perth based MacRobertson Miller Airlines, an Ansett subsidurary.
After renaming to Airlines of Western Australia in 1981, the airline was again renamed in 1984 to Ansett WA.
With the renaming, the airline also operated in a variation of the current corporate image for Ansett Australia.
Ansett WA was formally woundup in 1993, with assets being transfered to Ansett mainline and Skywest - later called Virgin Australia Regional Airlines.
At the time of its windup, MMA, and by succession Ansett WA, was Australia's oldest continutallly operating domestic airline and one of the oldest airlines in the english speaking world.

Similarily, Ansett NT was another renamed subsiduary airline; formally Airlines of Northern Australia. Using a mixture of F-28s, BAe 146s, 737s and Cessnas, the airline operated significent services around the Northern Terrirtory, flying daily stopping services between Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs, as well as Ayers Rock (Uluru), Gove, Grooyte Eylandt and Cairns.
However, Ansett NT was woundup in 1991, with many of the former services being cancelled.

Notably enough; MMA Fokker F-28-1000 VH-FKF was operated by both Ansett WA and Ansett NT in both the Shooting Star and Flag livery, before being scrapped in 1995.
During their service within the Ansett group, it is believed that the Ansett Fokker Fellowship fleet operated with atleast 8 Ansett sub-brands; MMA, Ansett WA, Ansett NT, EastWest, Airlines of NSW, Ansett NSW, Ansett Express and Skywest.
