Omanwings | Boeing 787-9 | A4O-JF | 2017-present

Omanwings serves as the flag carrier - and is the largest airline - of Oman. While it was officially founded in 1994 its roots can be traced back to the early 70s, with the founding of Oman Airways International (OAI), which went bankrupt in 1992, and most assets of which were transferred onto the new airline. It currently operates a fleet of 60 aircraft, mostly Boeing jets, aside from a small subfleet of 5 Embraer 175s. Additionally, it has more than 30 new planes on order, although those orders are in doubt due to the coronavirus outbreak that has halted almost all of the airline's operations.

In 2014, faced with rapidly increasing demand, as well as an overcomplex multi-type ageing fleet, especially considering its total size, Omanwings announced the largest order in its history, consisting of 10 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, split between 4 -8s and 6 -9s, and 25 737 MAX 8s. Both the first MAX and the first Dreamliner, a -9, were to arrive in 2017. This lead the airline to move ahead with the second branding change in its history, following one in 2002. The new branding moved away from previous livery's flag colours, instead featuring a dark metallic red colour, with a silver secondary. Another major change was the font used for the titles, modernized from the previous font, used since the airline's founding, and the falcon logo. A unique characteristic was the falcon's wing, prominently featured on the nose of the airline's aircraft. The main fuselage was also coated in a light silver finish. It was revealed along with new interiors as the first 787 was delivered to Omanwings' Muscat base on August 26th, 2017, and was very well-received.

A40-JF is the third 787 delivered to Omanwings, received in April 2018. It inaugurated the airline's Muscat - Tokyo Narita service on April 30th. It is configured with 30 B/E Aerospace Apex Suites in a 2-2-2 configuration with direct aisle access, and 249 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration with 32'' of pitch. It was expected to undergo a reconfiguration, to introduce a Premium Economy class as well as extra-legroom Economy, dubbed Economy+, however the recent pandemic has put a halt to those plans

I was gonna do this one in gold too initially but it looked a lot like Dhahrani so I decided to use the red bc it's in the flag as well

old one was pretty good but i don't mind this one either

    good

    Thanks!

I quite like this, the dark red is pretty unique for a middle eastern carrier (which is a good thing). Only thing I'd do is make the Arabic titling on the fuselage a tad darker to make it stand out a bit more, it kinda disappears alongside the english text...
