Cypriot - BN-2B Islander

(please excuse the quality, it's my first attempt at editing a real aircraft image)

Cypriot International took delivery of its first BN-2A Islander in 1983, for flights between Cyprus and the Greek Islands. The airline has since operated 13 of the type, but it is soon to disappear from the skies, with the airline looking to increase its fuel efficiency by replacing the A variant with the more modern BN-2B. This is well underway, with 3 BN-2B Islanders having been added to the fleet, the first of which, 5B-ISL, was delivered in 2018. Only 4 BN-2A Islanders remain in service.

The Islander is apparently still the perfect type for Cypriot's Express division, and this is evident, with the aircraft now having served for over 35 years.

Apologies for the typo, the title was supposed to say BN-2B. :)

You can edit the title. 'Image Moderation > Edit', then change the A to a B and save.

    Oh, I never realised. Thanks!
