In addition to a corporate brand relaunch, 2010 was also the year Aviaperú ordered eight new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners to replace its ageing fleet of Boeing 767s. The first Dreamliner would be delivered on 5 July 2016, making its maiden flight from Lima to Los Angeles that same day.

In 2014 Aviaperú ordered 33 Boeing 737 MAX series aircraft slated for deliveries between 2020 and 2021; the order consisted of eleven MAX 7s and 22 MAX 8s with all-economy cabins. Deliveries been deferred until the second quarter of 2021 due to the worldwide 737 MAX groundings that went into effect after the fatal crashes of Lion Air Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 in 2018 and 2019, respectively. To alleviate strain on the existing short-haul fleet for the duration of the groundings, the airline leased four 737 Next Generation aircraft from Avolon in February 2020.
