Air Sudan Old Logo

Air Sudan Old Logo

The Sudanese national emblem was used as a logo from 1989 to 2019 while the airline was under government control during the time Omar al-Bashir was president of Sudan.

looks like some kinda army logo tbh
That bird does not look happy

That bird does not look happy

He's not happy because the airline doesn't have traffic right into the EU

I really do appreciate when less used countries (Like Sudan, my own) are branded. However, this is the sorriest excuse for an African, and even Sudanese logo ever.

For those unfamiliar, this is an exact copy of the Sudanese national emblem. Nothing was changed except for the text on the top ("Victory is Ours") and bottom ("Republic of Sudan") ribbons. The emblem depicts the Secretary Bird, our national bird (it's a pretty badass bird).

If you seriously wanted to brand an airline using its national emblem (a la old Etihad), this is the laziest way to go about it, especially considering the deep and colorful history behind Sudan's national carrier and its brand.

For a second, I almost thought this troll is targeting me or trying to get my attention. I don't care for it anyways. It's pathetic. If you seriously want to brand a Sudanese carrier, or any African/Middle Eastern carrier for that matter, I'd love to help. If this is some joke, I have better things to do.

If I had known you would take offense to this, I wouldn't have posted it here.

If you could help me come up a new logo for Air Sudan, that would be appreciated.

    It's not a logo.
