Car-GO is the world's first dedicated air-auto transport service, founded in 2011, they operated a small fleet of 3 747-8 freighters on their "Sky-Highway" routes; LAX-JFK, SEA-JFK, and DFW-JFK. Whilst primarily an Car transport business, they sold excess space on their aircraft as a way of making ends meet, operating flights under contract with a number of companies, namely FedEX, UPS, and Amazon. The company filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy in late 2015, and ceased to exist by 2016.
