ScottFreight SAAB-340BF 2010-Present

ScottFreight is a small Scottish cargo airline that was started in early 2005 to tap into the small airfreight market in the United Kingdom. Started by Adair Campbell a former British International Executive who had been fired from the large airline in 2003 when the plan to start ScottFreight came into fruition. In 2014 Campbell died in a ATR-42F accident on approach to Edinburgh killing him and the two pilots flying the plane when it rolled sharply on final smashing into the countryside. After this accident the airline started to faulted without the man behind the airline at the helm. In 2015 Trans Global Cargo, A Logistics company from the United States with a large European Presence with their subsidiary Deutsche Fracht, Approached the ScottFreight executives with a offer to buy the company and turn it into a feeder operator for Trans Global Europe and to operate regional cargo planes for Deutsche Fracht. A deal was made between the two companys adding ScottFreight into the Trans Global Cargo Network when the deal went through in 2016.
