Vanguard Airlines 737-900ER N754VG '2015 Retro'

In October of 2010, Boeing rolled out 737 LN number 5121, destined for Vanguard Airlines. This airplane however would not follow the normal chain of events leading to the delivery of a new airplane. Following final assembly, the airplane was flown in it's fresh, unpainted appearance to Victorville, California. While there, an aircraft painting company was contracted to polish the entire airplane and add airlines' retro inspired 1951 paint scheme in anticipation for the companies' 90th Anniversary in 2011. This airplane was then covered in tarps until December, when it was then flown to Memphis and unveiled before a crowd of surprised company employees and spectators. The companies' other Retro aircraft, N610VG, a Boeing 757-200 (http://www.airline-e...rsary-retrojet/)was flown in for a photo shoot and formation flight before both aircraft went into revenue service from Memphis.
N754VG remains in this livery as of 2020, and goes down once a year for an annual polishing.
