The A321neo has become TransWest's aircraft of choice to replace the ageing Boeing 757-200s operated by the airline. Although the airline's management preferred the 757, the advantage of lower overall maintenance costs by transisitioning to an A320 family fleet proved to be the deciding factor in the airline's decision. Equipped with 16 First and 156 Economy seats, the aircraft offer a seat pitch of 32 inches or more, free wi-fi, and seatback entertainment in every seat.
