EuroJet Airways Print Boarding Pass

It looks nice but this wouldn't work. The printers used for boarding passes can only print in black. So you'd have blank customized however you want, but the passenger and flight details can only be printed in black.

that's not true go look at lufthansa's boarding pass, or do you mean the actual writing?lufthansa-boarding-pass-lh-582-frankfurt

I mean the writing. So all the yellow and the white text on the top, and the photo of the dude, and the little labels that say 'name of passenger', 'carrier', 'flight no/class' etc are all pre-printed. That's why they can be any color you want. Then, using a special printer designed to print tickets and coupons at high speed and using a predefined format, the unique information - so 'FRA', 'CAI', 'LH 582', 'Q', '13 JUL', etc - is printed onto the blank boarding pass. This means that the eurojet boarding pass above is not possible, because 'Lorenzo May', 'LTN', 'NAP', 'ER 4809' etc can't be printed like that. And it's not as simple as just changing everything to black, because then part of it wouldn't be visible on the blue background (the blank boarding pass has to be designed so everything is visible when printed later). Also, these high-speed data printers use that specific font you see on the Lufthansa boarding pass (or at least slightly different variations of the same font) so that nice thin font wouldn't be possible either.
