The Douglas DC-9 was the backbone of Luftag's fleet for two decades. From the introduction of the original -10 version in 1965 to the retirement of the last -40 and -50 aircraft in 1988, the DC-9 provided sterling service to the airline and its customers. The predominant type operated by Luftag was the -40 variant, which was introduced in 1968. It was eventually replaced by the more modern Fokker 100 starting in 1988.
Updated 1970 livery.
