B-5498 | XiamenAir (Xiamen Airlines) | Rest easy, baby Boeing

On the night of August 16th, 2018, a Boeing 737 skidded off the runway of Manila International Airport due to poor weather. As a result, the aircraft received substantial damage. However, it was deemed beyond economical repair and was given the status of "Written Off".

From what I know the other engine that detached from the plane is located somewhere within the airport.

As of November 3rd, 2018, the aircraft is awaiting scrap and can still be seen today.
