British International's two main short-range jet types (not shown: the Trident 1C, also an important aircraft on short-range service in the 60s and 70s). A new livery was introduced on the newly-delivered BAC 1-11-200 and Trident 1E aircraft in 1965, and painted onto the Trident 1Cs already operated by the airline. The naming convention which began in 1953 remained after the rebranding, so the two aircraft shown here are G-FOMA 'One-Eleven Essex' and G-FDQB 'Trident Malaga'.
