Air Netherlands was founded as a holiday carrier in the early 1980s, using Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft out of its hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. In the mid-2000s, and the airline was rebranded as a higher-end, low-cost carrier, providing frequent, affordable and comfortable air service to Europe and beyond. With a fleet of over fifty Airbus and wet-leased Embraer aircraft, the airline is proud to offer almost 200 flights a day to destinations on five continents.
