Orelavia 787 10 Advert

Orelavia 787 10 Advert

Orelavia ("Orel" is the Russian word for eagle) is a Russian carrier, and although it would not be a true low-cost carrier, it would still take many cost-cutting measures. One of which would be the more basic, minimalist logo and livery, which would help save on paint costs (as well as branding costs). The logo itself would be black and white in print, and possibly limiting advertising to the internet and print media, etc. Cabin comfort would still be comparable to that of any mainline carrier. The yellow and black are the colors of the old Russian Imperial flag, and they would help the plane stand out at airports. This 787-10 would be used for long-haul, high demand flights to Newark, Los Angeles, Beijing, Shanghai, Delhi, Mumbai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Dubai. 737's and smaller 787's would be used for lower demand and shorter routes. The airline maintains hubs in Moscow (VKO), St. Petersburg, Sochi, Novosibirsk, and Vladivostok.

You missed out the 'к' at the end of Новосибирск, but apart from that this is miles ahead of the first version!

The engine logo looks great now! And good background, keep up the improvements.

    Uh, more like 50 yards...

Look at the first version of this livery. Now look at this. Tell me its not a huge improvement.

It isn't? The livery is still god awful and needs a ton of changes before it's an acceptable livery.

Like here's a start. Never use Yellow for a base color, it's so hard on the eyes and just ruins the appeal of the livery. Second, I'm not getting on an airline called "Orelavia", and third what in the **** is that logo.

Sir... let ideas ruminate for a few days before you put them out in the public domain.  Go back to it days later and see if it was as still as good as you think it was.  If not, make it better.  Rinse, repeat until you can truly say you are happy.

Most of the "iconic" brands on AE took months and years to build, they were not created overnight.

Exactly! You need to be willing to spend weeks if not MONTHS on a brand, not forty ****ing minutes.

To add to this, look at some of the big virtual airlines, FlyEuro, Metro, FlyUK, they all have years invested in their liveries and it shows.

    Three poor examples.
