European is a full-service carrier operating throughout the continent using subsidiary carriers based in different countries, for example European France, European Germany, and European Italy (shown here). All the subsidiaries were were formed through acquisitions and mergers of locally-based carriers. This particular aircraft was operated by the Italian holiday carrier Volante before the airline was merged into European Italy.

Note: Proof of concept for an idea I've been looking at for a while. European and probably also the carriers that merged to form it will likely eventually get their own album.

I like it but you should condense the font down (not scale down) to compensate for the curvature of the fuselage.

You mean distort the top of the 'european' text to look like its curving over? I usually try to place the titles far enough from the top of the fuselage to make the effects of the curvature negligible, but I see what you mean. I'll play around with it and see if I can get something that looks right.

It doesn't look bad, but it still doesn't have a coherent logo. 4 stripes? That could mean anything.

You could have at least used the EU flag's stars or something to have a pan-European thing going.

That's a bit too cliche though isn't it? Just sticking a bunch of stars on the tail?

    No?????????????????????????

    No?????????????????????????

Man if question marks were a currency you'd be rich. Anyway, I'll play around with putting flags on the tail and see what I can come up with.
