In 1959 Maori Airways entered the jet age with the DC-8, the type would later be joined by the Vickers VC-10 both of which revolutionized the airline's international routes and within five years were a regular sight at Southeast Asian airports along with select routes across the Pacific to the West Coast USA.
Maori Airways had always been a believer in new and revolutionary aircraft having been among the first to order jets and continuing on to place orders for the Concorde when first announced although these were later cancelled. This continues today with the airline being the only operator in the world of the Beechcraft Starship six seater turboprop used to serve New Zealand's most remote airports. Three Starships were ordered in the early 1990s and are expected to remain in the fleet for many years to come.
I may do a 990 Coronado if people want
"Maon Airways" Interesting. The text seems a bit bunched. Rest of the livery is good though.
I am not really a fan of liveries that are close to real world liveries ( here it is obviously ANZ ) because I like it more if you try to make it more unique BUT I think this livery is well made and I love the logo.
