'Arthur'

In October 2014, British Explorer brought this plane for two causes: to start their expansion to destinations across the Atlantic, and to introduce a new livery scheme in their rebranding campaign to reintroduce the airline as an exclusive full-service carrier.

Long story short: the expansion never started, and the rebranding campaign was cancelled. The plane was then sold to a Dutch carrier in April 2017.

In that thirty months period, Arthur only flew twice: his arrival flight, and his departure flight to Amsterdam.

    This for the competition thingy?

    This for the competition thingy?

    Nah.

That would be holy s*** expensive to paint... but oh so grand to look at.

    Nah.

Good. I won't slate it then lol.

Good. I won't slate it then lol.

But I still want you to slate it.

But I still want you to slate it.

    If you insist...

The brand really doesn't represent 'modern Britain'. I'm aware it's the typical stereotype, but the design, and especially the name, is exceptionally pompous and regal.

It suffers much from the same issues as Med's British Global; a poor logo combined with an outsider's idea that everyone in Britain spends the afternoon eating scones and worshiping Lizzie.

    If you insist...

    etc.

Then I was right not to put this into the competition.

I've learned from the previous competition (Arab) that my idea of something won't be true in its original place, if I'm using an outsider's perspective.

You're also right that I use all the stereotypes I know when I was making this.

Although, no. I don't think you guys worship Lizzie.

But to learn that you also don't spend the afternoon eating scones... God! That really is a bombshell!!
