aeroantillean use the Airbus A321s to connect Jamaica to other cities in North America and Central America. The sudden order of Airbus planes still shocked the aviation community but the company has stated that this move is to diversify their only Boeing Fleet to something more viable for the economy for the country. Still, aeroantillean still uses it's Boeing 737-800 but it's already in the phase of removing them from the fleet. The last Boeing 737-800 flight will be a year from now.
