Following the untimely merger with Intercontinental and the Septemer 11th tragedy Northern slowly emerged form bankruptcy. On November 2nd 2004 the new Northern was unveiled. Branded with the new slogan "We Know Flying" replacing the Merger slogan of "Better together" and a new take on the Eurowhite scheme designed in 1986. The airlines well known Chevron logo remind with a new striped tail design and a new typeface for the logo. 'Airlines' was removed form the logo. The first two planes to be painted in the new livery were a 717-200 N021NO a former Intercontinental order delivered just after the merger. and a 767-300ER N987NO.
717 looks nice, although I would make the entire engine red.

. And as for the engine. I think its a part of the engine thats grey. Like Delta and Hawaiian 717's have it. Aswell as Boeings

That is how the engine is in general at the back, however it can be painted... Just look at Blue1 Airlines 717... however i personally dont like it when its painted!
