Kiwi Airways started out in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington, and has grown to be the most recognized airline of New Zealand as it has expanded service to five continents and a total of three hubs in Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch with AKL being the largest of the three. The Kiwi on the tail is the most notable feature of the airline's livery. Based on recent surveys, Kiwi Airways is the people's preferred choice for flying to and from New Zealand. All of our mainline aircraft, A319 and larger, feature on demand audio and video, seat-back gaming and flight tracker all at no cost! We offer snacks on all flights less than 6 hours with one complimentary snack and beverage excluding alcohol. On our longer flights we offer two meal options for the respective meal based on the time of day. People have complimented our services both on and off board the aircraft with quick boarding, minimal luggage damage or loss, the best on-time record, and the fewest cancelations or delays of any airline of New Zealand. Our airline has not suffered any casualties as we have won multiple awards for maintenance excellency.
