Singapore Airlines today announced it will merge its regional subsidiary Silk Air with Singapore Airlines. The 737 MAX 8 (current on order with Silk Air) will become a core part of the Singapore Airlines narrow body fleet from 2020.
New runway and terminal at SIN means more slots, meaning opportunity for more frequency, meaning SIA can start flying narrowbodies again.
