Royal Canadian Airlines | 777-300 | 2018

Royal Canadian Airlines | 777-300 | 2018

It was back in 1995 at the Paris Air Show when Royal Canadian signed a memorandum of understanding with Boeing for 13 777-300 jets.

This marked a landmark moment from which Royal Canadian could begin its global expansion, the new jets would enter service from 1998 onwards and were set to be delivered by 2003. The aircraft flew on countless trans-Pacific routes such as Seoul, Tokyo and Singapore as well as trans-Atlantic routes to many European cities including London, Paris and many more.

The 777-300 soon became the backbone of Royal Canadian's long-haul fleet. Today the airline has 24 777-300's in service however many of these planes will be retired in the coming years such as the above C-GRYR which has been delivered in 1999 and has since flown millions of miles.
