With the success of the JetSet A318, it was decided to spin cubeJetSet into its own wholly owned subsidiary and satisfy the travel needs of professional sports teams, entertainment groups and corporate clients. Six A319 and four A318 were ordered with 58 business class seats on board.

According to those familiar with the situation, college athletics are behind this decision.

The cubeJetSet subfleet also debuted the new business class product, kub™, that will be rolled out over the entire mainline fleet over the next five years.
