Ever since I got to fly on a real L1049G three years back I fell in love with this one... I try to pay my respects as best as I can.

I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. Seattle museum of Flight had anniversary and they took out for a spint their Trans Canada Airlines L1049G...
Unless you lived in the 50s your chances of flying one of these today is just next to 0. Man you're really lucky.
