I was just looking for a small turboprop for my Gulf livery history, but look at what I've found!
Although the actual Pan Am did not actually fly the L-1049 (actually they flew the L-049 and the -749 Constellations), the Pan American I had in AE regularly used the Connies on most Intercontinental flights out of the US, including the Oriental Clipper service, the first air service connecting the US East Coast with the Far East; the story of which I will be uploading as a livery history soon.
N88857 (Clipper Unity, later Clipper Flying Mist) served Pan American (the actual one) from 1946 until 1955, when it was sold to Panair do Brasil.
Beautiful! but yeah... not the 1049
