10. US Destination Map (2018)

Quantum flies to 90 destinations in 43 states across America. Quantum strives to provide a low cost alternative to all types of travelers, from vacationers to businesspeople to frequent fliers. Although its home base is in Memphis, Tennessee, Quantum's largest presences are in Charlotte, Baltimore, Dallas, and Denver. Quantum flies point-to-point services, meaning that almost any airport in Quantum's network is from one to three flights away.

Since both of our airlines are based out of MEM, how are we gonna sort out the gate issue?

    Vanguard owns Memphis

    Vanguard owns Memphis

    well, there's a three way issue.. .-.

Looks like it's a fares war then :> Who can attract the most customers?

Gate space if the three are all based at MEM is a big issue. I'm assuming the extension to C that was proposed was probably added in AE. And assuming that the south end of A has not been torn down

I'd bet the Fedex Superhub would be replaced by Vanguard at least partially, freeing the main terminal gates. Quantum has proposed building an HQ/terminal conglomerate with 30 gates, on-site maintenance, and a training center.

which gates does Quantum occupy currently?- which also brings me to the same question about Vanguard.

Well depending on how realistic the terminal idea is, it would have moved out in 2007. If not, I'd say Quantum takes a healthy portion of Concourse B.

I figured it would probably take up C. I chose that extension proposal for the concourse map since it would have been the most realistic as it was actually considered while NWA was still hubbed there before merging with Delta.

Quantum takes a lot of gates as it operates high frequencies where possible. I figured B made the most sense for it since it has twin branches that it can use for easy connections between gates but still would provide enough for it to operate the way it needs to. But again, if the terminal is realistic (have to run it past a few people) Quantum would have moved out of there awhile ago.
