Air Crimson Maddogs

The Mad Dog family of aircraft have been part of Air Crimson's Identity for decades since its introduction into the fleet. The dc-9 was introduced for short to medium range routes. Throughout the years with an ever increasing demand in air travel, the airline bought the larger DC-9-50 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-88. The Maddogs are a favorite among Air Crimson's customers due to there only being one middle seat in each row as the aircraft are equipped with 5 abreast seating. Later in 1990, some MD-88's and DC-9's were leased to the newly formed LCC, Florida Central Airways. Sadly, the DC-9's were later retired in 2009. But the Md-88 continues to serve along with the Boeing 717 purchased originally in 1999. The MD-88 continues to be a workhorse in the short to medium range market and the 717 provides shuttle service on shorter high demand routes.
