An Air Crimson Airbus A320, N817CX, landed at MEM Late January 2018. Instead of heading to a gate to Concourse B, where most of the mainline fleet of Air Crimson is parked for scheduled flights, the aircraft instead taxied to one of the hangars to be painted. 11 days later, the aircraft emerged from the hangar bearing an unusual livery bearing a combination of Air Crimson and the PHX based carrier, Mallard Airways. The livery was painted to commemorate the Joint venture partnership between the two carriers.
The original Mallard Airways livery and Brand is owned by MallardDuckAviation.
