jetconnect CRJ-900 unveiling!

jetconnect CRJ-900 unveiling!

Introducing yet another aircraft to the jetgo company!

After 8 months of negotiations jetgo has been granted permission to purchase 75% of the now defunct Centralwings assets which included 4 Fokkers F-100 and 1 737-400. The airline has collapsed due to its parent company Amber Gold being investigated for fraud in the banking industry which has an effect on their airline shattering its reputation, after 18 months of trial the parent company has cancelled its funding of the airline forcing it to cease operations, giving jetgo an opportunity to regain its long lost regional/domestic power.

The former Centralwings had options for 12 F-100 which were never realised however jetgo has decided to convert 6 into firm orders. With slots in Poland's regional airports we knew we had to look for smaller aircraft that would provide acceptable profits when flying from our new bases in Gdansk, Katowice and Krakow. After extensive analysis we have chosen the CRJ-100 and later the CRJ-900 as our strategic machines that we hope will fly from our new hubs by 1993 however until then we will operate all flights under jetgo's current flight numbers.

Jetconnect has been established in February 1992 however currently all aircraft are operated by the parent company, by April jetconnect will is expected to operate the F-100s as well as the CRJ family with approximately 15 aircraft in service.

We look forward seeing you abroad!
