In the early 80's, Hellenic ordered 9 A310-200s and 4 A310-300s. The 200 was meant to ease stress on the other A300's in service, which replaced the A300B2, while the 300 was to fly longer flights and reach for destinations out of reach for other airliners in the fleet.
