- Album Chest o' Northwest Airlines
If Northwest Airlines were still in operation today, this is what at least I think their fleet would consist of. Considering the large amount of airbus aircraft in their fleet, they could have been a potential customer for the A320 neo to replace some of thier older A320's and to fill in the spots left behind by the DC-9 fleet, most likely with regular A320's however. They also could have possibly been an A350 customer as well to start using on some of their Transpacific routes that Delta now operates with their A350. I kept the 747-400 on the fleet list because considering that the Boeing 747 has been a staple of the Northwest identity for so many years, they probably wouldn't let go of the aircraft quite yet. Also, the 757-300 would have been retro-fitted with winglets around the same time delta did when they inherited the aircraft.
