Royal Air Belgium first delivery of the 737 Next Gen Aircraft was taken in 2001.

Royal Air Belgium operates many 737 through central Europe as-well as Nordic Routes such as Iceland, Norway on-top of routes to Northern Africa. The 737 Next Gen Aircraft has become a workhose for Royal Air Belgium throughout Europe it has a configuration of 12C and 144Y for more legroom. The airline operates a total of 71 737's.

The airline owns a total of 71 Next Gen 737's the fleet being composed of 13 737-700's and 58 737-800's. Some older jets are planned to be replaced soon with the new 737 MAX which is to eventually replace all 737 Next Gen Aircraft.
