Although they merged in 1991, RegionAir was spun off in late 1994 again to become Southern Airways's regional brand. It operated using Southern's CRJ's and Saab's, and these aircraft were painted in RegionAir colors. The Saab's had a unique livery, featuring the airline title at the rear and at an angle, unlike Southern's mainline or RegionAir's CRJ's.
